Widespan is often used for garden centres.

Greenhouse covering type Widespan

Widespan covering systems are routinely applied in ornamental plant cultivation and at garden centres. Alkupro supplies Widespan covering systems with a span width of 6.40 m and 12.80 m. However, every other desired size is possible.

 Ventilation windows hinge from the ridge.  

Specifics Widespan:

  • Cover screen is directly under the glass.
  • Screwed covering system under a continuous ventilation window.
  • Bars are finished with a PVC cover strip.

Widespan 6.40 m:

  • Roof angle of 24 degrees
  • Steel gutter construction
  • 4 mm glass and 16 mm SDP
  • Ventilation windows hinge from the ridge or the purlins.

Widespan 12.80 m:

  • Roof angle of 24 degrees.
  • Gutter construction in steel or a combination of steel and aluminium.
  • 4 mm glass or 16 mm SDP.
  • Purlin span of about 1750 mm possible.
  • One-sided or two-sided ridge ventilation available at all times.
